Cloud computing is one of most emerging skills today; this session was completely handled by Mr. Karthik Padmanabhan who is working in Google. He started his speech by telling, it’s all on the cloud!! His energy level was in full swing while answering the plenty of questions from student’s side, still now our participants are asking questions to him via twitter.

The youth of Volunteers from GDG hosted the Panel discussion to the Professors and HODs from various colleges in Madurai which was something awesome and the bits of effective conversations are always remembered by everyone. More than 25+ developers and designers interacted with them.

One week before ahead of the event, our volunteers went for seeking sponsorship for the programme but surprisingly SBL group from Madurai were ready to deliver the topic about VR and how the 360 degree camera is working, and pros & cons of VR. Live Demo has been showed to the participants.

Ms. Manisha Madhwani and Mr. Shadab from TCS said about the present and future of IOT. Hoping IOT will be the next Industrial revolution!!

Future of web is nothing but Progressive web app, Likewise future of India is nothing but our younger generation. The guy named Prasanth who is pursuing his engineering from Anna University has delivered his speech about Progressive web apps which was the good initiative for him.

Event Report

Every child, the word “Mother” gives all strength and joy similarly the word “Google” create a good wavelength among students.
We have planned for this event exactly two weeks before; and started spreading the event news in and around Madurai. We have asked the students to register for the event. Within two days of enrollment we got a huge response of 120 registrations. It’s been very tough for us to shortlist the students, we were very keen while short listing the students with some interesting question the response was fantastic. Finally, we have shortlisted 50 students.
We local developers and students were gathered in a place and started discussing the data structure concepts along with Competitive and dynamic programming to crack the Google APAC Test.
Senthil kumar who gave a talk about data structure and the importance of APAC test. He also shared his views on Google and the story of those who have been placed in Google recently. It was really admirable and students started dreaming about their #lifeatgoogle. Thereby everyone start networking with each other and came up with the solution of cracking APAC exam.
